Villasis has gained recognition as a fast developing municipality and has emerged as one of the most preferred tourist destination in the province of Pangasinan.

Strategically located along Agno River and accessible from major towns around Pangasinan, Villasis is a bustling center of trade and commerce as well as agro-tourism. The municipal government works hard to leverage on the town’s potential to attract more tourists into this farming town. Offering a variety of attractions and cost-effective eco-tours, Villasis is no doubt a must visit sightseeing destination.

A popular sight in the municipality is the eggplant farm which grows both hybrid and native eggplants. Annually, Villasis holds its town festival showcasing recipes using eggplant as the main ingredient. Villasis’ town fiesta, also known as “Talong Festival”, takes place in the third week of January in celebration of the town’s Patron Saint.

Tourists can come to Villasis for a farm visit, a holy pilgrimage, or for the local food. Do not forget to binge on some tupig. The town’s tupig is still unique from the neighboring towns.
