What was recently a relatively unknown town has seen a boom in tourism from backpackers and weekend travelers, particularly for its virgin islands that stand to rival the Philippines’ most famous beaches. These tourists sights have since become more accessible, thanks to improved infrastructure in the form of paved roads, making it an ideal destination for families and groups who are just looking for a weekend getaway. The progressive town has so much more to offer though than just crystal clear waters and pristine shores. It also has salt farms (salt being its primary commercial product), waterfalls, caves, and even a World War II museum that houses an insane collection of original war vehicles that will make history geeks lose their minds. Now a energetic tourist spot that shows no signs of slowing down, Dasol is definitely one town worth visiting.
