The southernmost city of Metro Manila is probably most famous (and infamous) for Ayala Alabang, an expansive high-end residential community, and the New Bilibid Prison, the country’s main penitentiary. But Muntinlupa is also home to Jamboree Lake, the smallest natural lake in the Philippines, and the Japanese Garden Cemetery where General Yamashita, who became well-known for his mythical buried treasures after the Japanese occupation, was buried.
