With a land area of about 50,300 hectares, Naujan is Oriental Mindoro's largest municipality. Its expansive plains are dotted with the prominent peaks of Mt. Naujan, Mt. Tinangisan, and Dome Hill. South of the town lies Naujan Lake, the fifth largest lake in the Philippines and home to a wide variety of fish and water birds. Among the town’s other attractions are several waterfalls, hot springs, a river, and a revived 17th century church.
