Let’s all be realistic: catching a flight and booking a hotel in Cebu a day or two before the Sinulog Grand Parade will require some sort of a miracle. It’s best to go to Cebu a week before the festivities, explore the island, after all, the Cebu does not fall short on things to keep its visitors occupied. Here are 5 things to do in Cebu!

Get yourself some tan lines

Cebu is famous for its white-sand beaches and gorgeous islands. Apart from beach-bumming and taking a dip in its crystal waters, there are also other activities that can satisfy anyone who is in love with the ocean. One can snorkel, dive, swim with magnificent whale sharks and more.

Join street parties

The days leading up to the grand parade are filled with street parties and celebrations. In fact, the festival celebrations are month-long and there are surely numerous small parties here and there. If you are down to meet new people, get a little bit drunk, dance like no one’s watching, then definitely find yourself a street party to attend.
