Known for the outrageous celebration, the city will be under a holiday during this one-day (June 24) event to lessen the inconvenience between festival-goers and working professionals. 

Hosed to the ground, this iconic celebration is flocked yearly with people both tourists and locals. 

Though, due to the alarming water shortage in Manila, this festival was under scrutiny by people, so San Juan answered by limiting the water they used for the event.

How to get there

There are jeepneys from Divisoria that travels straight to San Juan. 

Those Quiapo-Taytay (Greenhills) buses also pass by San Juan.
