Nearby attractions

Museo De La Salle
Attraction
7.37 km away

The bahay na bato, a veritable symbol of the Filipino Ilustrado's culture and lifestyle, is the central theme of Museo De La Salle. A private museum within De La Salle Dasmariñas campus, it features a collection of crystal chandeliers, religious images, and antique furniture commonly seen in opulent 19th century stone houses.
The two-story building has a spacious sala mayor on the second floor where most of the furniture are displayed. At the center of the house is the oratorio, a baroque altar that resembles the retablo of a Spanish Colonial Period church. The design of the bedrooms, dining area, kitchen, and azotea were also patterned after the bahay na bato motif.

Baldomero Aguinaldo Shrine
Attraction
9.31 km away

This shrine is one of the two official shrines in Kawit, Cavite, the other being the Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine. Baldomero Aguinaldo Shrine is a two-storey ancestral house owned by Emilio's cousin, Baldomero Aguinaldo. Built in 1906, the house is made of stone and Philippine hardwood such as molave and narra. It shows influences of the classic bahay na bato design with its large sliding windows, ventanillas, intricate carvings on wall panels, and painted floral patterns on the ceiling. Restored in 1982 and inaugurated as a museum a year later, the shrine features antique furniture on loan from the Intramuros Administration and personal memorabilia of Baldomero Aguinaldo. The ground floor, once a storage area for farm produce and poultry, now houses a photo exhibit and a few furniture pieces.

Bacoor Church (St. Michael the Archangel Church)
Attraction
9.34 km away

Also known as St. Michael The Archangel Church, Bacoor Church is one of the oldest churches in Cavite. It was established in 1669 using bamboo, straw, and nipa leaves. During Fr. Mariano Gomes' term from 1824 to 1872, the church was renovated with the present architectural structure made of adobe and tegula. Bacoor Church was created as a separate parish from Kawit in 1792 by virtue of the Royal Cedula issued by Ferdinand VI, King of Spain, to the Spanish Governor General in the Philippines.
