The Virgin Mary of Candelaria Church or commonly known as Azagra Church is the oldest church in Romblon and is reportedly the second oldest church in the Philippines after the Sto. Niño Church in Cebu. The church’s façade will take us back in time because of its historical and religious importance. The Azagra Church has a quaint design that uses “boga” or coral stones. Inside the church, thick ironwood sticks out in congruent spaces used as frame of the church.

Cantingas River Resort
Attraction

Winning the title as the cleanest inland body of water in the Philippines for three years in a row, the Cantingas River Resort has crystal clear water. Due to strong currents on the higher parts of the river, it is the supplier of the islands hydroelectric power plant that supplies electricity in the whole Sibuyan. The river has a three-level diving platforms, 10 feet being the highest. The small waterfalls are quite strong, while the bed rock is uneven due to smooth river stones that can easily shift due to currents.

Kweba Falls
Attraction
13.02 km away

Kweba Falls is one of the many falls of Sibuyan Island located in San Fernando. After an hour trek, a powerful 10-feet waterfall can be found hidden inside a cave tucked away in the forest at the foot of Mt. Guiting-guiting. Two giant rocks formed a cave-like opening; hence the name. Inside the cave is a deep yet clear lagoon of cold water from the high mountains. A higher waterfall formed by rocks outside the cave forming a stream below with strong rapids.
