Flying Through El Nido's Zipline | Things to do in El Nido-Palawan

El Nido Zipline - Philippines - Explora
Outdoor adventure
Palawan El Nido {{ view.data.hearts | number }}
For an extra-scenic adrenaline rush, try out this zipline. It’s a bit of a trek (and uphill at that) to the starting point, but you’ll want to wake and warm your muscles up anyway. After all, you’ll be flying across the sky at top speed, and that’s something you’ll want your entire body to be alert for.

Inclusions

Like most ziplines, you can choose how you want to do it, whether it’s the less-daunting sitting style, or the bolder superman style that will have you dangling from the hips and holding on to nothing. However you choose to do it, make sure you keep your eyes open and take in as much of the view as you can!

Who can come

Guests of all ages can attend. If you bring guests who are under 18 years of age, it’ll be the responsibility of the guardian to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate.

Terms and conditions

  • Non refundable
  • Re-bookable to another date with 48 hours notice
  • Payments are forfeited if no-show or if the guest cancels in less than 48 hours before the scheduled activity

El Nido Taraw Via Ferrata Canopy Walk
Attraction
0.90 km away

If you want to experience El Nido’s famous Taraw Cliff in a safer way, this is the attraction for you. The Canopy Walk experience is rock climbing lite, geared more towards inexperienced climbers who still want to catch a bird’s eye view of the town and the bay. That’s not to say that the Canopy Walk is not without its challenges. There are some steep and sharp rocks that need to be passed in order to get to the top. There is also a 75m-long bridge suspended 30m above ground that swings with the slightest movement, shaking the wits out of anyone remotely afraid of heights. Once you see the view though, going through all those challenges will be worth it. You also get a bit of a geography lesson along the way, thanks to the knowedegeable guides! The whole canopy walk costs P500 per person.

Seven Commandos Beach
Attraction
1.60 km away

Towering limestone cliffs and a row of lush palm trees are the sights that welcome you as you approach 7 Commandos, now one of the more famous stops among the 45 islands and islets in Bacuit Bay. With a generous shoreline of sparkly white sand, 7 Commandos is a beach bum’s dream, perfectly suited for lazing around and taking a quick dip without having to do much in the way of physical exertion. The small bars selling refreshments by the beach make it even easier to indulge in a bit of sun-dappled laziness, the kind you associate with hammocks and the soothing sounds of a ukulele. With 7 Commandos’ easygoing vibe and sheer beauty, people often find that a quick stop here as part of an island tour is not enough. Luckily, it’s near enough to El Nido town to be reached by kayak if the waves are good. A resort on the island itself also means you can spend your entire trip there if you so desire.

Maremegmeg Beach
Attraction
2.61 km away

Corong-Corong’s go-to sunset spot, this generous stretch of white sand is a great place to hang out even during the day. It has several establishments that can cater to all your beachgoing needs – from bars and restaurants, to paddleboard and kayak rentals. Most people here are inclined to lay out and tan with an island-themed cocktail in hand, but if you’re feeling the need to do some exploring, you could take your vessel of choice out to the open sea and paddle away to the nearest island. Food and drink may be a bit pricier here compared to El Nido town, but it’s a small difference to pay when you’ve got a great beach, an uncompromised view of Bacuit Bay’s legendary limestone formations and islets, and the chance to catch a sunset you won’t soon forget.

Island Hop Nido Hostel started from a dream of bringing comfort to more tourists and travelers with nicer and more advanced facilities. It is inspired from a simple ancestral house that we turned into Manny’s Guesthouse in Puerto Princesa in the year 2009. Manny’s Guesthouse was considered as one of the best value backpacker and home stay accommodations in the city. MGH only had three spacious 2nd floor fan-rooms in an old Spanish style timber house with some of the capiz windows still remaining. Carmela and I became known to tourists and travelers for our hands-on approach with each guest that we welcomed.

From this experience, we dreamed of building a better home for tourists and travelers all over the world. We believe that Palawan is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and that we should be able to welcome everyone who opts to see its wonder.

Now, we have relocated here in the majestic town of El Nido. Expect that we will serve you with much more enthusiasm and passion in our hearts! Island Hop Nido Hostel is definitely bigger and better but still remains homey and affordable for everyone.

We offer a wide range of services from arranging tour packages, transportation, a restaurant bar, a dormitory-type room, complete room facilities, and a lot more.

We are ecstatic to welcome and serve you! We hope to see you soon!
