Nearby attractions

Tinagong Dagat
Attraction
3.37 km away

Tinagong Dagat translates to “hidden sea” and is like a secret hiding place. It is a salt lake carved into the pointy limestone rocks of Kabibihan Point – the northern most tip of Tablas Island. The lake is connected to the sea through underground channels and geology causes the water in the lake to be high during low tide and vice versa. Trees growing on rocks adorned the boundaries and stairs of beautiful sandstones lead to the water hole.

Calatrava Municipal Park & Museum
Attraction
4.41 km away

Standing proud in the middle of the small town proper, a museum that is shape like a ship holds the documented history of the simple and peaceful town of Calatrava. Inside, there are photos and dioramas of the town’s past. Murals adorned the sides of the MV Andagao sitting on the town plaza’s lagoon filled with water during the summer as a treat to the locals wanting to go for a dip in the pool.

The Blue Hole
Attraction
5.98 km away

A unique naturescape in San Agustin is the only "hole dive site" in the Philippines, the almost legendary Blue Hole. It takes almost an hour by boat to reach the bay of Barangay Cawayan from the town proper. As a diver descends into the hole, he or she will be welcomed by many species of marine life and wonderful coral formations especially the big fan corals. It is possible for beginners to explore this dive site, but beyond the 30 meters depth would require specialized or advanced diving license.
