What makes Tita’s Bibingka different from the usual Bibingka Galapong is its taste and texture. This soft and fluffy concoction is actually cheese Bibingka and it's one of Tanauan's must-try delicacies. Think of it as the brainchild of egg pie and cassava cake, but it’s made of rice instead of cassava. There are also other treats available here, like Ice Cream Nilupak. Nilupak is boiled cassava mashed with milk and butter and is usually served hot or in room temperature.

Aside from the joy you’d get from devouring its pulpy goodness, this fruit--known locally as Mirinda--also carries various health benefits. It is a rich source of fiber, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Since there are a lot of passion fruits in Taysan, they have learned to present it in different delicious forms. Salabat
Attraction
16.95 km away

Ginger has many health benefits. It is usually consumed in tea form or as a fragrant spice to amp up dishes. People usually take salabat (or ginger tea) to soothe their inflamed throats. It is also widely believed that it can make one's singing voice be better. Since not a lot of people have the time to prepare it, Taysan came up with the Instant Salabat.

Sinukmani
Attraction
19.10 km away

Being Batangas’s Rice Granary, Rosario has come to be known for some of its rice-based delicacies--the most celebrated of which is the Sinukmani. This is made of malagkit rice, coconut milk and brown sugar, much like the biko in appearance but with a variation. The sinukmani is topped with caramelized latik for added flavor. This is a special delicacy prepared only for special occasions because cooking it requires a lot of muscle. It is best eaten as a snack, served on a piece of banana leaf with a strong cup of kapeng barako on the side. It is a favorite particularly during weddings not only because of its taste but also because of what it signifies: sticky for unity and a strong, binding relationship, sweet for sweetness in a relationship, and lastly, cooking it requires muscle – just as a relationship requires much effort in order to make it work.

Local sightseeing
16.12 km away

Milea Bee Farm is not a resort. It is a working farm dedicated for the propagation and care of 3 species of honey producing bees.

We can show you around to see the bees in their habitat. We have the Italian Bees (apis mel- lifera), Philippine Native Honey Bees (apis cerana) and different kinds of Philippine Native Stin- gless Bees. It is situated in a secluded area with no neighbors and without electricity. You need to walk about a 200 meter foot path from the parking area. Wearing long pants, rubber shoes with socks is recommended.

You can have a taste of honey fresh from the bee hive; know and see the different honey pro- ducing bee species; know the sources of nectar and pollen as well as edible flowers; discover the relationship between bees & flowers; and how bees are closely related to the food chain. Hope we can share to you why bees are important and how you can lend a hand to the world- wide concern, and our continuing campaign to Help Save The Bees. It will be a totally different educational experience both kids and adults will enjoy.
