The twin sand bars of Barangay Babuyan are shifting white sand bars that provide good bases for snorkeling. That is, among the several coral gardens that surround them. To reach both sandbars, travelers need to take a 20-minute banca ride from the village wharf. The banca rental costs P900 for 6 people (P100 per additional person) and can accommodate 10 people max, while the entrance fee is P30 per person. The barangay has several convenience stores where visitors can do their last minute purchases before heading to the islets. Renting a Paraw (P350 per hour), which is a local sailboat akin to the vintas of Mindanao, can also be arranged with the locals. The boatman teaches tourists how to man a paraw using nothing but the sail and a deep understanding of sea currents and wind directions.
