Cresta de Gallo is a secluded paradise that can be reached after 30 to 45-minute boat ride across the Siuyan Sea. Legend says that the island got its name from its shape resembling a cockscomb. Approaching the island, the water is crystal clear that corals and rocks started to appear. White sand runs from all sides of the island. However, the sand on opposite sides are different, the sand facing Sibuyan Island is polvoron-like, while the other side is full of broken shells and corals. A rich forest is situated in the middle of the island.

The Virgin Mary of Candelaria Church or commonly known as Azagra Church is the oldest church in Romblon and is reportedly the second oldest church in the Philippines after the Sto. Niño Church in Cebu. The church’s façade will take us back in time because of its historical and religious importance. The Azagra Church has a quaint design that uses “boga” or coral stones. Inside the church, thick ironwood sticks out in congruent spaces used as frame of the church.
