Bagulayag Rock | Things to do in Ferrol-Romblon
|Address:||, Ferrol, Romblon|
Find your way out of town to Brgy. Canduyong and a short walk through the mangroves will bring you to the rock formations of Bagulayag. Look carefully where you are walking and you will see the remnants of bullet shells from World War 2 embedded in the rock. Just off the coast is a rock formation that locals use for cliff jumping and diving. Why not try it yourself. There are also plans to develop watersports activities in the area.
You will need strong legs for this climb. But once you have made the effort to climb the 360 stairs up to Gabawan Vista Point you will be rewarded with a view along the entire west coast of Odiongan Municiapality. From here you can see over to Mindoro too. Totally worth the effort.
Ferrol takes a lot of pride in one of the most beautiful coves there is to find in the region. Locals and tourists alike hardly get tired of the spectacular sunset view that can be witnessed in Binucot Beach. The sunset in this spot is indeed a phenomenon of natural beauty, providing a romantic atmosphere, making it a favorite among lovers and traveling friends. Gifted with fair tropical weather, white sand beach, and clear blue waters, Binucot beach is a highly promising destination that is still largely uncharted in the country's tourism map. Binucot Sunset Cove offers seafront octagon-shaped cottages with spacious rooms and balconies.
