Pangasinan Tayug 262
This public park started its transformation to a beautifully landscaped wonderland in 2013. Today, the place attracts visitors, not only from the neighboring municipalities, but from all over Pangasinan. It is most famous for its mesmerizing display during the Christmas season as the five-hectare park becomes a Christmas village decked with colorful lights, lanterns, and other native decor. On weekdays after school, the park comes alive with the sound of children enjoying the playground and the different life-sized statues of their much-loved cartoon characters. The park caters to everyone, young and old, and those who want to take a breather can take a stroll, sit idly and watch the fountain display, or set up a picnic on one of the tables provided for eating. Fondly called the "Disneyland of Pangasinan," the place is well-maintained, clean, and safe. Truly, a source of pride for Tayugeños everywhere.

San Nicolas Municipal Hall
Attraction
5.26 km away

San Nicolas Municipal Hall is usually the traveler's first stop when launching an adventure in this part of Pangasinan. It houses the town’s local tourism office, where friendly officers can give a lowdown on all the information needed for a safe journey, as well as provide assistance on hiring local guides. Bordered by Caraballo mountains, San Nicolas is unsurprisingly home to a number of off-the-beaten attractions and hiking trails. But since tourism infrastructure has yet to improve, visitors are advised to first get in touch with the local authorities before proceeding with any activity.

San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish
Attraction
5.41 km away

Two persons named Nicolas are key figures in this town’s history: Nicolas Patricio and St. Nicolas of Tolentino. The former is San Nicolas’ first leader, the latter its patron saint, a symbol for the town's Catholic faith. Together they helped shape a budding community that was comprised of native Igorots and migrant Filipino Christians from other parts of Luzon. As the town flourished and as more people were evangelized, the local chapel was elevated to parish status in 1846. This church was completely burned twice – during the Philippine Revolution in 1898 and World War II in 1944. Its latest iteration was built in 1958.

Pook Natinna-ay
Attraction
6.02 km away

The environment at Pook Nalinna-ay is extremely peaceful. Throughout the grounds, a collection of woody trees, flowering plants, and boulder landscapes are in sight to handle guests’ emotional and spiritual makeover. A walk through the Bermuda grass lawn or the decorated arch bridge spanning the lily pond below can be equally therapeutic. Visitors staying at the guesthouse can sit down at the veranda, drink coffee or read books while relishing everything they see, smell or hear. True to its name, Pook Nalina-ay is a place of pure, uninterrupted relaxation. Guests can opt to stay here for a staycation, intimate gatherings or even a solo out of the city retreat.
