When in Villasis, drop by the town’s vast eggplant farm. This farm produces both native and hybrid purple eggplants that can grow up to 17 inches in length. Villasis Eggplant Farm is open to the public 24/7, but a group tour needs to be coordinated to the Agricultural Office beforehand. While in the farm, visitors can interact with local farmers and learn more about the town’s main agricultural produce as well as experience eggplant picking. Entrance to the farm is free, but buying of local eggplants are highly appreciated.
