Teacher's Camp
Attraction
0.26 km away

The campus-like facade of Teacher's Camp hides away hair-raising horrors with not much success. Rooted beside Laperal Mansion, Teacher's Camp was formerly a resthouse for American Generals. It later witnessed bloodshed during the Japanese occupation in World War II. At present it has been transformed into a recreational learning centre for academe instructors, and serves a lodging venue for people with limited monetary resources. Locals and tourists alike tell tales of ghosts that reside within its premises. Its staff refuse to reveal the details of their encounters, but there is no changing its reputation. At night, visitors are woken by hair-raising sounds: the wail of a woman in grief, a perfectly haunting music of a lid-locked piano, and heavy breathing from beneath cottage walls. Haunted or not, good times can still be made within its spine-chilling chambers.

Laperal Mansion
Attraction
0.72 km away

Once owned by one of the richest clans in Baguio, Laperal Mansion is a commanding sight along Leonard road beside the infamous Teacher's Camp. The three-storey mansion is decorated with old yet intricately-varnished interiors. Used as a garrison by the Japanese, the Laperals' loving home was quickly turned into a gruesome site, which explains numerous stories about ghost sightings. Despite its brooding aura, the Mansion has a garage that serves as a showroom for bamboo art. The exhibit also promotes traditional Ifugao wood carving.

Narda's Handwoven Arts and Crafts
Attraction
1.21 km away

A project of Wilson and Narda Capuyan in 1972, this flagship store carries a broad selection of high quality, locally made items such as traditional barongs, bags, blouses, scarves, and table runners. Through a series of experimentations, Narda revived the Cordillera Ikat way of designing and dyeing threads.
