Session Road marks Baguio's center of commercial activity. It is home to many savvy restaurants, bars, surplus boutiques (ukay-ukay), hotels, bakeries, movie houses, and drugstores. Covering from Luneta Hill to Baguio City Market, Session Road was named after the First Session of the Second Philippine Commission as its path led to its venue, the Baden Powell Hall.
A must-visit before leaving the city, Baguio Public Market is located right at the lower end of Session Road and behind the Maharlika Center. It is here where visitors can buy souvenirs and handicrafts made in Baguio and Benguet Province.
