Burnham Park | Things to do in -Baguio City
|Address:||Jose Abad Santos Drive, Baguio City|
A must-visit before leaving the city, Baguio Public Market is located right at the lower end of Session Road and behind the Maharlika Center. It is here where visitors can buy souvenirs and handicrafts made in Baguio and Benguet Province.
Baguio's Rizal Park is a humble space with a handful of grassbeds and ferns. Situated beside the esteemed Burnham Park, the park is almost meager in comparison, shrunken by its giant neighbor. From Burnham Park's Rose Garden, a few steps will lead visitors to Rizal Park, where an obelisk is rooted in the center. The image of Rizal is inscribed onto the monument with an inscription that hails the hero as a human sentiment of patriotism.
Baguio Museum is the repository of the artifacts of different ethnolinguistic groups of the Cordilleras namely: Apayao, Mountain Province, Ibaloi, Ifugao, Kalinga, Gaddang, and the Tinguian or Itneg. The museum showcases an array of collections of traditional attires, accessories, hats, baskets, musical instruments, woodcarving, jars and ceramics, and weapons, all dating as far as the 1950s.
