Viewed from Recodo Port, the Lighthouse in Barangay Wawa faces Tablas Strait and Sibale Island. Recodo Port is also referred to by many as Wawa Port. With the port's shallow waters, travelers may also swim here, go fishing, or hangout at night, when the wind is cool and breezy. Boats seldom dock on this port due to its shallow waters, especially during low tide. Another lighthouse of the same structure is found in Barangay Razo. It can be reached by chartering a small boat from Recodo Port.
A multipurpose spacious ground, Pinamalayan Municipal Park is sprawling with rain trees, pine trees, a playground, and a butterfly garden. Visitors can also jog here, read a book, have a picnic, or simply hangout. Other than its natural features, the park is designed with a sense of Pinamalayan's history, culture, and people. Some of these are the rainbow colors (the town's symbol) splashed on one bridge, the relief sculpture of town leaders on one stage, and the sculpture of a tamaraw, the dwarfed buffalo endemic to Mindoro Island. Also found in the park are two podiums, the Open Auditorium and the Rizal Cultural Stage; a Filipino-Chinese Arch; a statue of Dr. Jose Rizal, the National Hero; and a shrine called Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor), where names of the town's homegrown heroes are engraved.
Talon Falls is a short, trekking adventure in the forest of Barangay Calima in Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The falls is about 5 meters high, and 4 to 5 meters deep. It is shaded by trees and walled in by limestone rocks. It is advisable to get a guide (P150/group) from the Barangay Hall in Calima, which is just about 5 minutes away from the falls' jump-off point. Trekking to the waterfalls takes about an hour. Another waterfall lies upstream, over Talon Falls. To get there, however, you would have to climb the right wall and secure a rope to reach the top. It's advisable to reach the second waterfall only with the help of an experienced wall climber.
