Museo ng Makati Museo ng Makati Museo ng Makati
Located at Barangay Poblacion, this awe-striking Bahay na Bato is a subject for curiosity in the middle of a concrete jungle. The building was established in 1918 and served as the town hall of Makati until 1961. In 1990, the old building underwent renovations and was enacted to be the Museo ng Makati in place of the town hall. The museum holds several artifacts, treasures, and relics that tell the story of how Makati came from being a town into a mega business hub. One of its prime features is a living" exhibit of the different regions of the country, showcasing the unique attributes of each region.

Makati is known for its fine dining restaurants, one of the finest being Chef Jessie at the Rockwell Club. Here, award-winning chef, Jessie Sincioco presents Filipino food using French techniques of cooking, e.g. her adobo uses duck instead of chicken and pork and is topped with pan-fried goose liver. For seafood lovers, experience her Prawns with Laing (dried taro leaves in coconut milk), a truly elegant interpretation of the humble laing. For dessert, which the restaurant is known for, Chef Jessie offers a unique Halo-Halo Souffle, a startling interpretation incorporating all the elements of the famous shaved ice dessert except for the ice: jackfruit, macapuno, red and white beans, sweet potato, leche flan, and ube halaya. Modern without losing the real flavors of Filipino food, this restaurant truly elevates local cuisine to the internationally accepted fine dining standard.

Together with his wife Elena, they ventured into purchasing of real estate, with the dream of building their own establishment.Their children, Carter and Alex, shared the same aspirations and would later on come up with a thriving budget hotel in the city of Manila.
