Reducto de San Pedro | Things to do in City of Manila-Metro Manila

Originally built to be an added fortification, this lone pentagon structure located on the outskirts of the wall is connected directly to Baluartillo de San Jose as a storeroom for ammunition and firearms. The Reducto is specifically built to make transport of ammunition easier, with custom-built ramps at the side of the structure leading to the parapet. It has also had its own cannonball deposit, and gun emplacements look out on the parapet. The Reducto is closed for the public but it can be seen from afar from the Baluartillo de San Jose and some parts of the wall nearby.
