Another tourist attraction of the Municipality of Talavera is the Eco – Park. The Eco – Park is truly an Eco – friendly park which have mini zoo, a kiddie ride called “Tren ng Bayan” which goes around the park, and most of the scenic ambiance because of its extra ordinary landscape surrounded by different plants and trees, with fountains and benches, tables ideal for a family bonding.
the Provincial Museum, located at the ground floor of the Provincial Capitol in Palayan City. Established to feature the history and culture of Novo Ecijano people, the museum is serving the students and visitors from different parts of the region.
Before the war, this used to be a military training camp for twenty years but was converted into a concentration camp for Allied Prisoners of War during the Japanese occupation. Some of the survivors of the infamous death march from Bataan to Corregidor in April to May 1942 were imprisoned here. A shrine now honors the brave rescue of POW’s by the Filipino guerillas led by the late Governor Eduardo L. Joson. The camp is a popular tourist destination area for the veterans of WWII and their families who visit our country under the WWII Veterans Homecoming programs.
