Also known as Bilaran Sandbar, Balugbog Baboy Sandbar gets its name from the nape of a pig. The sandbar stretches about 500 meters in a slender s-shape like that of a pig's nape. The sandbar is best visited in the morning during low tide, the only time when the sandbar could be seen. During high tide, the sandbar is submerged knee-deep in water. Together with Puting Buhangin, Kwebang Lampas, Pagbilao Experimental Mangrove Forest, and Patayan Island, Balugbog Baboy Sandbar is part of the island hopping destinations in Pagbilao, Quezon. Travelers can visit all destinations by chartering a boat from any part of Pagbilao's coastal area (P1,500/boat, good for 8 people).
Kwebang Dapa gets its name from the Filipino word dapa, which means "to prostrate or lie on the ground". The cave is flat, hence the name, and tunnels towards another cave opening. Kwebang Dapa is located near two other caves called Kwebang Mahangin and Kwebang Lampasan. To get to these three caves, travelers would have to hire a guide at the Lipata Barangay Hall (P100 to P200/guide), and trek for 30 minutes. The Barangay Hall is found along Lipata Beach, next to the basketball court.
Not to be mistaken with Kwebang Lampas in Pagbilao, Kwebang Lampasan is found in Lipata Island, Padre Burgos. The cave entrance is s narrow passageway with a high ceiling, and opens into a wider clearing inside. About half of the cave is dark and requires a flashlight, while the rest is illumined with openings from three different locations in the cave ceiling. The cave is quite small and can be explored in 10 to 15 minutes. Kwebang Lampasan is located near two other caves called Kwebang Dapa and Kwebang Mahangin. To get to these three caves, travelers would have to hire a guide at the Lipata Barangay Hall (P100 to P200/guide), and trek for 30 minutes. The Barangay Hall is found along Lipata Beach, next to the basketball court.
