Kawa-Kawa Falls | Things to do in Santa Cruz-Marinduque
|Address:||Brgy. Bancuangan, Santa Cruz, Marinduque|
Sta. Cruz Church is one of the two oldest churches in the province. Like Boac Cathedral, it is surrounded by high protected walls. The church's main attractions are its well preserved retablo altar, the pulpit, and the original ceilings.
The original structure still remains but was now converted as a barangay office. This was used as an early warning look-out point at the height of the Moro raids in Marinduque during the Spanish period.
This cave is located at Brgys. San Isidro and Punong, with around 2km underground river, mapped and assessed areas by the PCAT (Provincial Cave Assessment Team) and classified as Class II. The regular entrance is located at San Isidro and exits at Brgy. Punong. The Cave Guides through the Municipality of Sta. Cruz created a visitor center at San Isidro for briefing and setting up personal safety equipment for visitors. A profusion of fruit bats and occasional reptiles can be found inside the cave. It features an array of large chambers, flowstones, rim dams, variety of pristine speleothems, and a cascading waterfall which is the turning point of newbie cavers. More adventurous visitors can opt to exit to Brgy. Punong. The cave can be accessed via the 16km mixed combination of National road and barangay road from the town center. This is the main featured cave that was included in the 14th National Caving Congress and is now pushed as the best caving destination by the Prov. Tourism Office.

Where to stay
Welcome to The Boac Hotel
The history of The Boac Hotel was conceived way back during its inauguration in December 9, 1967. Originally, to cater to the accommodation of the new investors for Mining Executives and of course to the Domestic Travelers, my brother and I envisioned that since the mining firm will start the development of the project, during its construction period, they need a place to stay for their executives and their constructors.
The Boac Hotel, fronting the Archbishop Palace of Diocese of Boac, started with the construction of a wooden two story building for a ten (10) bedroom accommodation and only equip with an electric fan and electric power was supplied by the house generator and run for a few hours at night.
