St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church is an old Catholic Church built in 1868. It was then called San Miguel then later Vagnotan, when it was established as an Augustinian mission in 1583. The church was damaged during the earthwake and was restorated between 1870-1887.
This mystic body of water in the town of Santol is said to be a dwelling place for spirits guarding the forests, thus its name. Visitors to this place need to say their prayers first before exploring the 20 meter-deep natural pool where the falls plunge into.
