Towering 2,922 meters above sea level, Mt. Pulag National Park is the highest peak in Luzon. It is accessible by foot from the capital town of Bayombong and is located west towards the boundary of Nueva Vizcaya and Benguet. Using the trail of Ambaguio town, mountaineers will experience a different kind of terrain from gradual ascent to rugged trails under mossy forests and cold temperature.

Standing at about 2,102 MASL, Mt. Ugu takes two days to trek to get to the summit, passing through pine forests and diverse flora and fauna. Views of Pangasinan and Benguet can be seen from the summit. This mountain is most remembered as the site of the 1987 plane crash of a Philippine Airlines Flight enroute to Baguio from Manila.
